Civil and Family Law

Civil Law deals with matters such as the rights of persons, their capacity to exercise civil rights, personal circumstances such as relationships, family relations, marriage and divorce, their rights and authorities on the property and in this context title deed, property, pledge, mortgage and inheritance and succession transfer.

Radical changes in family law have appeared in accordance with the adoption of the amendments to the Turkish Civil Code in 2002.

Family Law is a broad field of expertise. CLO mostly deals with the important results of divorce proceedings, which are problems that might come across during the liquidation of family properties, action for damages (material or immaterial) and restructuring of these results and claims.

CLO has particular expertise in resolving family law disputes through amicable arrangements and drafting of settlement protocols. Besides, where the court proceedings are necessary litigation will be undertaken as well.
